RHS Announcements – Tuesday, February 25

Please remember that we are a scent free school. We have a number of staff and students who have scent allergies. If you are found to be wearing a strong scent we will be asking you to go home and shower.

• Attention RHS basketball players.... both Jv & Sr girls basketball players are asked to pass in their uniform sets to Mr. Jordan asap. Sr boys basketball players are to pass in your uniforms to Mrs. Tomilson. Jvboys basketball players, pass your uniform sets into Mr. Peter's. Thank you.

• All students writing the grade 9, 10 and 11 University of Waterloo Math Competitions today during period 1, please go to the cafeteria. Be sure to bring a pencil and calculator.

• The Mandarin Class is hosting a Panda Club where they will be making crafts, singing, dancing, cooking and playing games. If you are interested, please sign up on the signup sheet on the bulletin board outside the office. There is a maximum of 20 students to be chosen randomly.

• Congratulations to the girls and boys hockey teams who defeated KVHS last night! The Lady Red Hawks have won the southern conference title and the boys have earned the chance to do the same. The boys hockey team will take on St. Mac’s in a single championship game on Wednesday, February 26 at 6:45pm at the LBR. Come out to cheer on your Red Hawks as they try to defend their title as Southern Conference Champs!

• Any RHS students who will be 16 or older by May 2020 are eligible to apply to work for Elections NB for the upcoming Municipal Elections on May 11^th. If you are interested please see Mr. Peters by Tuesday, February 25.

• RHS Spring Sport tryout schedule:  The RHS following Badminton & Volleyball tryout schedule is on the gym lobby noticeboard.

• 7-8:30pm  JVBoys volleyball tryout

• Wed (Feb 26): 
• 4-5:30pm  Badminton tryout
• 5:30-7pm  JVGirls volleyball solo tryout
• 7-8:30pm  Girls rugby

• Thurs (Feb 27):
• 4-5:30pm  Sr Girls volleyball solo tryout
• 5:30-7pm  JVGirls volleyball solo tryout
